As a school, what can you expect?
At GRAAF, we believe that learning happens best through discovery and experience. Our school visits are therefore specially designed with an age-appropriate trail to spark imagination and stimulate curiosity.
As a school, you can choose from different formulas.
Visit GRAAF at your own pace
Come to GRAAF with your class and explore on your own through the experience trail.
Primary school
Primary school classes can use the customised children's trail for 6 to 12-year-olds. In the friends booklet Later I'll be.... ‘GRAAF’, the young Hendrik Van Veldeke takes our youngest visitors on a journey through the Middle Ages in Loon. Through the various characters, they are introduced, in a playful way, to life in the county of Loon.
Cost of the children's trail: 1 euro per brochure.
Secondary education
A visit tailored to young people? In GRAAF you have come to the right place. The specially developed audio trail for young people aged 12 and over takes them through the story of GRAAF and the Counts of Loon.
The audio guide is included in the price of the admission ticket for GRAAF.
Be accompanied by a guide
If you prefer to visit GRAAF accompanied by a guide, that too is possible.
Accompanied by a guide costs 70 euros per group.
Practical information
- Duration: School visits last 1.5 to 2 hours on average, depending on demand
- Group size: Maximum 20 pupils per guide per group. From more than 20 pupils, a second guide will be assigned
- Guidance: We ask for a minimum of one guide per 20 pupils.
